Finally, Your Easy-to-Manage Prosperous Blog

Posted by Robin on March 3rd, 2008

If you’re like me, you created a blog because you heard it was a great way to promote your business. The trouble is, without a system in place it can be tough to keep up with your blog and to expertly use your blog as a sales tool that doesn’t alienate your interested readers.

The good news is that there IS a way to stay active with your blog, develop a tight relationship with your readers AND have your readers turn into buyers – without losing your mind in the process.

In fact, Alice Seba & Lynette Chandler (two of my favorite blogging for business authorities) have put together an intensive 4-week bootcamp to help you clear all the hurdles in having a prosperous blog.

The bootcamp includes one-on-one customized help as you complete the weekly lessons and is a MUST for anyone looking for better results from their blogging.

Limited Registration is active at 3:30 PM PST (6:30 PM EST) today Monday, March 3, 2008. Registration stays open until they reach 25 students or March 7, 2008…whichever comes first.

Our Sweetie RSS Feed Reader is here

Posted by Robin on September 12th, 2007

I promised a RSS Feed Reader when this blog got started and now it’s here and ready for you to use.

If you are reading blogs and there are some favorites that you would like to keep up on, then you need a feed reader to keep them organized. Organizing your feeds allows you to read recent posts on your favorite blogs without having to visit each blog individually (sometimes we get sidetracked and end up all over the internet and then we forget all about them). I personally designate a time or day to read my favorites.

So, when you are on your favorite blogs or websites and see this orange icon

you can subscribe to it’s feed by clicking on the orange icon.
Once the url of that particular feed is on your browser you can copy it into the wizard of the Sweetie Reader.

Go ahead and download it now

http://www.momsbusinessnetwork.com/sweetiereader.zip
you have to unzip the file and download all 3 files.  There is a nice pdf manual with detailed usage  instructions and images to guide you in that zip file as well.

I’d love to hear your feedback on using it, please leave some comments here.

Enjoy your new , cool tool!

If you are taking out the time to post comments on other blogs with a motive to be picked up on search engines, but the other blogs have not disabled  “no follow”, your posting comment efforts are not benefiting beyond the discussion itself.

You can read more about the I Follow Movement, also known as Link Love and where you can find graphics to support the movement  and the plugins needed for your blogging format at Randa Clay’s Blog

We installed the Do Follow plugin for Wordpress.

If you follow go ahead and post your  blog link here and we’ll keep a running list of those who appreciate their commentors
